Aldo, you seem to be the most knowledgeable of us about Garo - I've been thinking we should find icons for the front page for those missing them, and make unique icons for all the Garo ones that use the same one (the original series can keep its icon). Do you have any ideas for icons we could use?
Do any Garo shows have teams, or are they all solo heroes? When we created the preload templates, one was made for teams at Template:Teampage. It calls for Template:TeamInfo, which doesn't exist. So should we make TeamInfo or delete Teampage?
While The One Who Shines in the Darkness was the closest to having a team dynamic, Zen and Gai operated independently unless they needed help or had to work with Ryuga.
Makai Knights usually operate alone in their respective districts unless circumstances require them to unite for an assignment by the orders of their respective Watchdogs.
There is not much teamwork this season either, as Raiga destroys the Horrors and the ones that were part of the Stone Slab of Adi are then sealed by Mayuri (whose only function in the show right now is just that, detect and seal those kinds of Horrors and find out if the Seed of Eris is in one of them.)
Crow is more of a retainer for Raiga, kinda like Ryunosuke from Shinkenger but a bit more serious. He rarely gets involved in fights and acts like any ninja does, spy and report back to Raiga or the Watchdogs, usually from the sidelines. (Though the second half seems to indicate he will be more involved with the story.)
Just wanted to drop by and say thank you for your hard work in maintaining this wiki for the hub. I've done what I can and I still will - but I wanted you to know your efforts are very much appreciated.
You'll have noticed by now that the background colour on the page content has changed to a darker grey. I did this to make the headers stand out, as previously, they were the exact same shade. Changing the theme slightly was less work than fixing every header would've been, plus this way the headers remain consistent with the rest of the Tokupedia hub.
Do you have a Funimation subscription? Nbajammer doesn't, and the service isn't available in my country, it's going to be hard to cover a show that none of us have the means to watch and understand.
I should warn you though, every review I've seen for that anime so far says that it's a dud. TV Nihon apparently wouldn't have subbed it even if it didn't get an official subbed release, they just don't like it.
As for the negative reviews, I partially attribute that to some viewers being unfamiliar with the source material and the fact that poor Yasuko Koboyashi has been overworked this year. ToQger, Zero: Black Blood, Attack on Titan and now this. She really needs a break as it seems she is suffering from writers burnout.
The free to view episodes on Funi have an age gate that requires a subscription....wonderful.
To those who can view them, the best option I can give is to sign up for a Hulu account or use your Facebook to verify your age so you can watch it free.
Signing up for Hulu does not cost a dime unless you subscribe for Plus, and Garo is a non-Hulu Plus show. (All having Plus adds is that you can watch it from your streaming devices such as the iPhone, Apple TV or a Smart TV)
Only downside is a 1 week delay on episodes... so not the most recently aired ones, just the ones from the previous weeks.
Seems there's video games and such about Garo as well, even if only released in Japan. We should cover them too if we can gather sufficient information. And maybe a gallery of a few screenshots from the game.
